What is a Warrant?
A warrant is a court order signed by a judge that authorizes a police officer to arrest you and bring you in front of the court.
How Do I Quash a Warrant?
If there is a bail/bond amount associated with your warrant, then you can pay the warrant amount with the court and they will quash your warrant and give you a new court date to appear.
If there is no bail/bond available (no bail warrant or non-bailable) or you cannot afford to post the amount then you should contact the court and ask about there warrant walk-in procedures. Many courts have a procedure for you to come and quash your warrant in-person and then they give you a new court date.
You can always contact our law firm and ask to speak with an attorney and we will gladly assist you if we can.
